Creative Asia Art Centre Opening Exhibition 30 May- 15 June

I am honoured to have a selection of pieces included in the official opening of the Creative Asia Art Centre, a new hub dedicated to celebrating artistic expression, cultural exchange, and creativity across the Asia-Pacific region.

She // A Study in Magenta

This body of work I created between 2021-2025 includes is a meditation on the strength, complexity, and beauty of femininity. Anchored in a palette of pinks and magentas—colours that can be regarded as delicate or decorative—I reclaim and embrace the deeper dimensions of these dynamic hues as symbols of resilience, depth, and great power.

Guardian’s Gaze, 2025 by Angelina Mirabito

Each piece reveals a facet of identity or emotional truth. Exploring vulnerability as strength, the quiet alchemy of transformation and honouring the intuitive mind that threads together inner worlds. Included are pieces that offer acts of reclamation—affirmations of inherent worth beyond imposed definitions. Reminiscence turns gently inward, tracing the intimate act of self-reflection.

Though this series centres on the experience of “she,” it engages with a broader, fluid spectrum of identity. It honours the diverse expressions of strength, softness, and selfhood across and beyond gender.

Together, these works form a quiet rebellion and a celebration—an invitation to see femininity as a powerfully dynamic, fluid and expansive force strengthened by working through adversity and limitations without losing access to the inherent warmth and gentleness.
