The Impact Wall, Transitions was created within a sustained sonic and physical environment shaped by the repeated playing of Knocking on Heaven’s Door - Raign. This repetition held me inside the transitional state that defines the work, a space where something is ending and something else is forming. The piece is built through layering, iridescent colour shifts, and the insistence of repeated gestures, each registering a moment of transformation.

My practice is grounded in the belief that beginnings carry their own architecture. Each work emerges from a threshold state where myth, material, and instinct converge into a singular force that compels form into being. I work at points of rupture, where the artwork moves beyond image and becomes an encounter shaped by light, texture, and emotional resonance.

Anima Mundi began not as an atmospheric proposition, a material field designed to respond to presence.

Created as the central spatial gesture for OBSERVER at Romulus Folio Gallery, the work functions as a large-scale impact wall: a textured expanse of palette-knife strokes in whites, pinks, pearl, and gold that shifts subtly under light and movement.

I’m excited to share a new documentary project that dives deeply into my journey as an artist, how I create, the ideas that shape my work, and the transformative role art continues to play in my life.

Flights of Love invites the viewer on a journey of ascent, both architectural and emotional. Inspired by the flowing curves of the staircase, the series reflects the elevated perspectives that shared experiences of love, life, and beauty can illuminate within us.

Working directly on the wall with a palette of purples, golds, whites, and pearlescent tones, I sought to create a visual field that shifts with the light, a surface that moves between solidity and transparency, intimacy and reflection.

The opening night for Whispers of the Grove exhibition at Romulus Folio Gallery @The Gladstone was a wonderful celebration of creativity and community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, and special thanks to Nina Taylor MP, Cr Alex Makin, and Kate Spencer for their presence and support, it meant so much to share this moment together.

One of the biggest lessons I took away from the Affordable Art Fair was learning how to speak more openly about my art. More importantly, I learned how to speak with the person standing in front of the artwork in that exact moment.

I am delighted to share my participation in Whispers of the Grove, presented by Romulus Folio at The Gladstone, South Melbourne, opening 12 September - 28 September 2025. This exhibition invites visitors into a quiet, contemplative space, where art becomes a language for listening, to nature, memory, and the subtle threads that connect us.

Last Saturday, August 23rd the walls of LeGrange Gallery came alive with the voices, visions, and power of 26 female artists from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.

Friday night was the opening of my exhibition Embers at Romulus Folio Gallery. It was a beautiful evening surrounded by art collectors, fellow artists, Gladstone residents, friends, family, and the Romulus community. I felt deeply supported by Councillor Alex Makin from the City of Port Phillip and Kate Spenser from FBIdeas, whose presence meant a lot to me as I shared this body of work.

Inspired Her celebrates the creativity, resilience, and stories of women across cultures.

Embers is about what remains alive after everything that is not us, everything performative, protective, or imposed, has burned away. It’s about what flickers beneath the ash and what still glows, quiet but resolute, even after decades of darkness.

This Sunday marked the second session of my Writing for Wellbeing workshop series, and it felt deeply meaningful on many levels.

Friday night marked the opening of WINTER at Romulus Folio Gallery. While the season may have suggested hibernation, there was nothing cold about the night we shared.

As an Italian-Australian artist, my connection to culture isn’t through language or tradition, but through survival, resilience, and art. In this reflection, I share how my family’s migration story, and the myth of Romulus, inspired the foundation of the gallery and continue to shape the work I do today.

Last week we were at the Convention Centre for the Décor + Design Show. The month before that, we were there for the Design Show, same venue, completely different experience.
